Zusammenfassung:Reaching and properly serving older men can be a challenge for practitioners because researchers continue to struggle in gaining the participating of men within research studies on help-seeking behavior and the utilization of healthcare information, and this lack of participation makes it difficult to fully understand the needs of older men. In this article, the authors discuss the principles of practice with older men and suggest various outreach and communication strategies that practitioners can employ to better reach out to older men they serve.
