Spectral characteristics of oxidized bisbenzyltetrahydroisoquinoline alkaloids. The spectra of oxofangchirine

Abstract Comparison of the UV, MS, 1H NMR (nOe) and 13C NMR spectra of oxofangchirine with those of known oxidized and unoxidized bisbenzyltetrahydroisoquinoline (BBI) alkaloids revealed several spectral characteristics of the oxidized BBI alkaloids which are useful in structure elucidations.
