The effect of Testa Triticum Tricum on intestinal transit, deoxycholic acid metabolism and the cholesterol saturation of bile

The risk of gallstones depends upon the saturation of bile with cholesterol. Evidence is now accumulating which suggests that deoxycholic acid (DCA) has an important influence on the cholesterol saturation index (CSI) of bile and hence on gallstones.
