Zusammenfassung:Given the importance placed on writing in grades K-12, writing instruction must be an integral part of teacher preparation. While there is little consistency in the amount of writing instruction offered in most teacher education programs, some educators have begun to include writing development in college courses. This study shows how formal instruction in process writing and successful experiences with writing positively affected students teachers' attitudes toward writing.
