L have a metal:ligand ratio of 1:2 and the ligand coordinates through the N atoms, as most of the (E, E)-dioximes. [Co(HL)
2
(L′)C1] has been prepared with L′ = pyridine, 2,6-dimethylpyridine, 2-mercaptopyridine, triphenylarsine and thiophene, together with a chloride ions as axial ligands. The structures of the polyamidoxime metal complexes have been characterized by
