The nature of solid solutions from determinations of equilibrium distributions of solute in centrifugal fields

The equations describing the equilibrium distribution of solute in a solution subjected to a high centrifugal field are examined. It is shown that a study of the distribution provides a basis for identifying the nature of the solution.
