Zusammenfassung:The magnetization of five series of multilayers with fixed Fe layer thickness and varying Cr layer thickness has been measured in parallel and perpendicular fields. Saturation fields for the parallel data are generally consistent with findings reported for Fe/Cr multilayers prepared under different conditions. Saturation fields for the perpendicular data show a systematic pattern of positive and negative deviations from values associated with shape anisotropy. The parallel and perpendicular saturation field values are strongly correlated.
