Zusammenfassung: | Computer assisted background correction in Room Temperature Phosphorimetry, RTP, is shown to be a reliable means of obtaining phosphorescence signals, especially in regard to its use for estimating limits of detection and precision of measurement. This approach is considerably faster and more reliable than conventional approach. Several model phosphorescent compounds are evaluated by the computer assisted and the conventional approaches. An Apple computer is interfaced to an Aminco-Bowman spectrophotofluorometer with phosphorescence attachment. |
