Zusammenfassung:The compounds N(p-n-decyloxybenzylldene)p-n-tetradecylaniline. 10O.14, and N(p-u-decyloxyben-zy1idene)p-n-octylaniline. 10O.8 of the well known nO.m homologous series exhibit FG and ACFG phase sequence variants. The molecular tilt in the tilted smectic C, F and G phases is measured by X-ray diffraction studies. The measured tilt angles are small and show temperature independence in the F phase.
