11-Hydroxyepipachysamine-E, A New Steroidal Alkaloid from Sarcococca brevifolia

A new steroidal alkaloid, 11-hydroxyepipachysamine-E has been isolated from the aerial parts of Sarcococca brevifolia Muell. Arg. of the family Buxaceae. The structure of this compound was elucidated on the basis of detailed spectral analysis.
