Zusammenfassung:A GAMMACELL system has been designed for measurement of high-energy gamma rays generated in fusion plasma nuclear reactions. A compact gamma-ray spectrometry system providing high efficiency, low background count-rate, low neutron sensitivity, and high radiation resistance was the object of the present work. The paper describes design of the system and results of in-beam test experiments.
