Zusammenfassung:Results of experiments on the investigation of long laser pulse interaction with solid are reported. Some parameters of ion emission are discussed. The influence of target thickness on the efficiency of multi-charged ion formation was discovered. A comparison of ion beam characteristics for long (t p = 40 μsec) and short (t p = 1 μsec) laser pulses is made.
