Using Emerging Technologies to Construct Effective Learning Environments

English: This paper describes how a major university has marshalled its resources to take advantage of new and emerging electronic technologies to provide high-quality learning environments for its students. The organizational structure and staff of several resource units (for example, the Center for Academic Computing, Education Technology Services and Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching) will be discussed briefly along with their respective objectives.
