Marion: A study of a super-regional centre and its impact on Adelaide

Adelaide has experienced major change in the scale of regional centre retailing in its southern suburbs with the completion in 1997 of the $200m Westfield Shoppingtown, the Marion Centre. This paper focuses on whether the expansion should have proceeded and its repercussions.
