Zusammenfassung:The flexural response of a clamped rectangular plate resting on an elastic foundation under combined inplane and lateral loads is obtained by using an extended Kantorovich method. The method is seen to be rapidly convergent both for moment and deflections. Typical numerical results are presented, which indicate the effect of inplane load and aspect ratio of the plate on flexural response.
