Synthesis and Reactions of P-Rich Silylphosphanes

The formation of P-rich compounds like (Me 3 Si) 3 P 7 1 and P 4 (SiMe 2 ) 3 2 generated from Na/K-alloy, white phosphorus, Me 3 SiCl and Me 2 SiCl 2 , resp., or the formation of 1 from P 4 , lithiumalkyles and Me 3 SiCl on the other hand occurs in several reaction steps 1 .
