Zusammenfassung: | Diagnostic information was examined in 532 female patients with sexual disorders. Only 8% were diagnosed as having female arousal disorder. The majority of the women diagnosed as having an arousal disorder had secondary diagnoses of low sex drive or orgasm disorders. Less than 2% were found to have a single diagnosis of arousal disorder. The infrequency with which female arousal disorder is a solitary diagnosis raises the question of whether this should be retained as a diagnostic entity. |
