Group Work With Latino Clients: A Psychoeducational Model

This article reflects and presents the authors' group work experience with Latino clients and a discussion of the following four areas: (a) a psychoeducational model of group work with Latino clients using a socio-process group modality, (3) the structure and content of sessions, (c) implications for group workers, and (d) conclusions and discussion. The goals of the psychoeducational model of group work are to explore, modify, or change group members' attitudes, values, and beliefs by means of informing, orienting, and educating group members.
