The Synthesis of Some Imino-Oxime Derivatives and Investigation of Their Ni(II), Co(II), Co(III) and Cu(II) Complexes

Two new ligands and their transition metal complexes were synthesized. These ligands are 1,2-bis(isonitrosophenylketimine)ethane (BPEH 2 ) and 1,3-bis(isonitrosophenylketimine)propane (BPPH 2 ). With these ligands, complexes were synthesized using Ni(II), Co(II), Co(III) and Cu(II) salts with a metal:ligand ratio of 1:1. The structures of the above were determined by 1 H NMR and IR spectroscopy, elemental analyses and magnetic susceptibility.
