A Facile Synthesis of 6-Substituted Benzimidazo[1,2-c]-Quinazolines Under Microwave Irradiation

Microwave irradiation promoted the high-yield cyclocondensation of ortho esters (1a-f) with 2-(2-aminophenyl)benzimidazole (2), as the catalyst was no longer needed.
