An Improving Method for the Preparation of (Tri-n-butylstannyl)ferrocene

(Tri-n-butylstannyl)ferrocene was synthesized via selective thans-metalation of 1,1'-bis(tri-n-butylstannyl)ferrocene by equimolar n-butyllithium in THF and followed by protolysis in methanol in satisfactory yield.
