A Facile Method for the Synthesis of Novel Quinazolinone Compounds
A simple and easy method is provided for the synthesis of the previously unknown 2-substituted-methylene-4(3H)-1,2-dihydroquinazolinones 3 in good yields by the reaction of ketene dithioacetals 1 with anthranilamide (2).
