Similar treatment with dimethylphenyl(trimethylgermyl)silane (3b) gave mixtures of the allyltrimethylgermanes (5b,d,f) and allyldimethylphenylsilanes (7b,d,f), whereas use of the potassium alcoholales afforded selectively 5b,d,f. |
