Application of the Keating Bendings to ALCL3 and SO3: Preliminary Communication

Force fields from literature for the degenerate (E') vibrations of AlCl 3 and SO 3 are transferred from the valence symmetry coordinates to the central- and Keating symmetry coordinates. In both cases it is found |F 12 k | > |F 12 | > |F 12 c |.
