Zusammenfassung:NMR proton, deuteron and oxygen-17 relaxation rates were measured in different isotopic species of liquid ethanol and propanol and in their mixtures with carbon tetrachloride. For the pure alcohols a large temperature range could be covered and the relaxation rate maxima were obtained. Evaluation of the rates yielded rotational correlation times, the OH bond length and quadrupole coupling constants for the deuteron and for oxygen-17.
