Zusammenfassung: | Using a multipole operator basis general formulae are obtained which describe the time evolution of the complete density matrix for a spin of arbitrary magnitude interacting with an electric field gradient in a static magnetic field and subject to a sequence of pure (δ-function) pulses. The evolution under the quadrupole interaction is calculated from general non-equilibrium conditions for I ⩽ 9/2. The physical significance of the results and descriptions of the multiquantum spectra are given along with some results of some two-pulse sequences. |
