Zusammenfassung:The 14 N NQR spectra are studied in ten substituted aziridines. The electron distribution in three-membered rings is discussed using the NQR data. The variation of the nitrogen orbital electron populations with substituents, as well as comparison of the 14 N NQR spectra in aziridines and amides having the same substituents, agrees with the three-centre-bonding scheme (except chloroaziridine).
