Atom-diatom inelastic scattering: a comparison of the many-body and distorted wave theories
The many-body equations of atom-diatom vibrational (rotational) inelastic scattering have been reformulated as two coupled equations. A comparison of these with the distorted wave theory has been made and all the similarities and differences have clearly been stated.
