Zusammenfassung: | Necessary and sufficient conditions are presented under which a two-variable function may be realized as the scattering transmission coefficient of certain classes of double-resistive-terminated 2-ports. Specifically, two classes of 2-ports are studied: a distributed 2-port consisting of a cascade of two commensurate normal reactance 2-ports which differ in their one-way propagation times; and a mixed lumped-distributed 2-port consisting of a cascade of a passive, lumped, lossless, reciprocal 2-port and a commensurate normal reactance 2-port. Reference is also made to the some degenerate cases. Illustrative examples are given. |
