Zusammenfassung:Several technologically important lead based relaxor ferroelectrics such as Pb(Mg 1/3 Nb 2/3 )O 3 [PMN], Pb(Ni 1/3 Nb 2/3 )O 3 [PNN], Pb(Zn 1/3 Nb 2/3 )O 3 [PZN] and solid solutions of PMN and PZN with 10% PbTiO 3 [PT] have been prepared by a novel combustion method. The phases formed, density, particle size and surface area of the combustion derived powders have been determined. Dielectric properties of the relaxor ferroelectrics have been measured.
