Study on the phases in Bi(1 - x)GdxVO4 ceramics II

The modification of the phases in the mixed ceramics of ferroelastic BiVO 4 and ferroelectric GdVO 4 has been studied with x-ray diffraction and Raman scattering experiments. Zusammenfassung:The modification of the phases in the mixed ceramics of ferroelastic BiVO 4 and ferroelectric GdVO 4 has been studied with x-ray diffraction and Raman scattering experiments. We observe evidences that a new phase in addition to BiVO 4 and GdVO 4 phases exists in the mixed ceramics for 0.3 ≤ × ≤ 0.9. Additional peaks in the x-ray diffraction patterns and new Raman modes are observed.
