Zusammenfassung: | Objectives: The aim of this study was to examine whether participation in low-intensity endurance training influenced pain and fatigue symptoms of fibromylagia. Methods: A training group [n = 11] exercised one hour twice a week for twenty weeks, while a control group [n = 14] did not change their physical activity level. Results: During the twenty weeks no statistically significant changes in symptoms were observed in the training group compared with their baseline recordings, or any differences compared with the outcomes of the control group. Conclusion: Patients with fibromyalgia might perform low-intensity endurance training without exacerbation of pain and fatigue. |
