Zusammenfassung: | Summary
Rats were irradiated with 100 000 R at high and low dose rate. The smallest decline in water-soluble antioxidants in brain and liver was observed at low dose rate where repair is possible during the irradiation. On the other hand, lipoperoxides are formed in adipose tissue in larger amounts at the low dose rate.
A great amount of lipoperoxides was found as normal constituents of both skin and hair. The results are discussed and compared with previous reports on apparent peroxide in irradiated mice. |
