Teaching and assessment in the consultation: a hospital clinicians' preparatory workshop for integrated teaching of clinical method to undergraduate medical students

A workshop designed to prepare senior hospital clinicians for a course designed to extend their consultation competencies and basic clinical skills is described. Students especially valued the ability to give feedback.
