Zusammenfassung: | This work is focused on adaptive equalisers with good error-burst performance over doubly selective fading HF channels. A DFE (decision feedback equalisation) scheme recently proposed for mobile channels is revisited and adapted for its application to the HF context. It is shown that the revised version of this equaliser provides significant BER performance improvements over the conventional DFE and avoids the occurrence of long bursts of decision errors. It is also shown that this new DFE equaliser is an effective means for reducing the need of training sequences and this way increasing the information throughput over HF channels. |
