Zusammenfassung: | Measurements on buried mine-like objects in sand have been performed. The results from the test landscape show that it is possible to detect buried objects day and night, the exceptions being around sunset and sunrise. The tests also show variations in thermodynamic properties due to the digging in combination with diffusion disturbances caused by the object. The analyses of the images were made by reducing the dynamic range to a number of standard deviations. Additional filters produced a binary image which was further processed in an erode and expand filter to reduce the false rate. This procedure gives a tool of pointing out the locations of the buried objects in the original infrared image. |
