How IEEE became my professional home [The Way Ahead]

I am convinced that everything comes at the right time-not before, not after, but at the precise moment that it is required. I have been a volunteer within IEEE for 22 years, and I previously participated in the Student Advisory Committee (SAC) and its activities. I am honored to have been elected as the 2023 SAC chair, and, as much as I am motivated about it, I also understand the big responsibility and challenges that will be involved in leading the activities and goals of more than 120,000 students around the world, and I won't take them lightly.
