Zusammenfassung:We had constructed an S-band high power rf system at SRRC (Synchrotron Radiation Research Center). It will be used as a test bench of various designs of S-band rf guns. A 2856 MHz PFN (pulse forming network) system was built to deliver a 2 /spl mu/s, 40 kV voltage pulse at 10 Hz repetition rate for the XK-5 klystron. As a quick start, we had fabricated a 2856 MHz single cell rf gun for the high power test. The recent results are reported.
