Zusammenfassung:In multifrequency E.I.T., contrast between tissues is possible provided that the tissue conductivity or permittivity changes with frequency for the selected frequency pair. The dual-frequency contrasts between muscle and other tissue, such as liver and pancreas, are studied with the muscle taken as the background material, using the real and imaginary parts of tissue complex resistivities. Different images are simulated for mammalian tissues at optimal frequency pairs.
