Zusammenfassung:Hybrid and all-electric vehicles have gained significant market share and are expected to see rapid development over the next few years. Traction force in vehicles can be generated by the powertrain unit in different configurations. Several automotive companies are investing in electrification and aiming for a paradigm shift in powertrain. Simultaneously, universities and research institutes are trying to contribute to this process. However, more consistency and unification are needed between the industry and academia for better results.
