Zusammenfassung: | In this letter, we design and implement a long-range FM band backscatter tag amplifier with the tunnel diode. This tag has not only low power consumption but also a longer backscatter distance compared with the traditional FM backscatter tag. Our designed amplifier achieved a 23-dB gain over bandwidth between 88 and 108 MHz with a power consumption of only 90~\mu \text{W} . According to our field test, our tunnel diode-based FM tag can achieve the 20-m communication range under FM signal strength of −50 dBm, which is much longer than the traditional FM backscatter tag. |
