Zusammenfassung:Multimedia applications are increasingly seen in wireless service networks. The higher channel rate requirements of certain multimedia services, such as video, places constraints on wireless resources, which must provide high channel rates in the presence of high interference and noise. We propose to increase the channel rate of high rate multimedia users by controlling the effective signal to interference and noise ratio (SINR) for those users, and by breaking individual data streams into smaller substreams which each have lower capacity requirements.
