Zusammenfassung: | Field emission characteristics are quantum-mechanically analyzed for a number of models of triode electron-optical structures with nanodimensional conic and edge carbon emitters with emitting tops having semielliptic configuration. The analysis takes into account the nonlinear nature of distribution of electric potential V in the region of potential barrier, that is the space between the emitter top and the equipotential corresponding to the work function potential of electron emitted by the material. The Laplace and quantum-wave equations are solved using the method of conformal mapping for edge emitters and the method of finite elements for conic emitters. |
