Zusammenfassung:This paper describes the first combined distributed amplifier/true-time-delay phase shifter. The design reduces the cost and size of broadband self-steering array systems. A proof-of-concept prototype is designed and fabricated using discrete components. The result is a measured gain of 9.5 ± 3 dB from 0.5 to 3.5 GHz with a maximum phase shift of 35° at 3.5 GHz.
