Zusammenfassung: | In order to enhance J c in (Ba,Na)Fe 2 As 2 wires and tapes further by improving texturing, we examined the following approaches; (1) Ag-sheathed HIP tapes, (2) AgSn-sheathed cold-pressed tapes, and (3) multifilamentary HIP wires with each filament having tape-like cross section. In addition, we attempted to increase I c by fabricating (Ba,Na)Fe 2 As 2 wires with larger core areas, and constructed a small demo coil using one of these wires with length up to 9 m. J c characteristics of these new wires and the performance of the demo coil with and without an electrical insulation are reported. |
