Code-division multiple access: novel multiplexing strategy in optical fiber networks

An analytical review of different fiber-optic code division multiplexing (OCDMA) systems are performed. The progress in fiber-optic CDMA algorithms and future trends in the development of lightwave CDMA systems are discussed.
