Zusammenfassung:The acoustic near field characteristics of the acousto-optic modulator (AOMs) with different electrode shapes are designed, simulated, and experimentally demonstrated. The experiment results show that electrode shapes directly affect the acoustic field distribution and the light spot's modulation. Under the same experimental conditions, the gradual hexagon electrode has the homogeneous sound field distribution and can get a modulation light spot with good performance. It is expected to further improve the acoustic field distribution and performance of the AOMs by optimizing the aspect ratio of gradual hexagon shapes. Furthermore, we can control the output spot mode by designing different electrode shapes.
