Zusammenfassung: | The levels of impact and vibration loading experienced by locomotive crewmembers have been measured for a variety of rail yard and over-the-road operations. These levels are compared to the acceleration levels experienced in such typical daily activities as walking, running and descending stairs. The typical daily activities exposure is derived from a series of tests in which subjects instrumented with accelerometers performed the tasks of interest. |
