Dosimetric characteristics of a virtual wedge system measured by ion chamber, therapy verification X-films and radiochromic films

Physical/clinical dose parameters of a virtual wedge system are presented. The potential of radiochromic films for dosimetry is investigated in comparison to measurement at point to point by ion chamber and therapy verification films for routine performance evaluation.
