Zusammenfassung:This article proposes a sensitivity analysis for the shape optimization of the electrodes in a dc conductor system. The sensitivity formula for the dc conductor system is derived using the material derivative concept and the adjoint variable technique. The shape deformation is determined by the design velocity evaluated using the derived sensitivity formula. The shape variation is expressed by the level set method. Two numerical examples are tested to show the feasibility and usefulness of the proposed method.
